Fresh Pot is an amazing little coffeeshop. You are bound to run into someone you know here (even if you’re not from Portland!) and possibly the person behind the counter once lived with you. They’ve got lovely hard wood floors and large windows that you can sit in. Their coffee is the best in town, rivaled only by Stumptown itself (their supplier). You are guaranteed a velvet-like froth on top of any soy latté, and there are plenty of charming baristas to gape at as you eat your pastries and slurp your coffee. Very zinester friendly. But why are they shooting a movie here with…Morgan Freeman? I just want my cup of coffee, thank you. Wireless Internet, so bring your laptop.
