Black Star Bags are the best bike bags made in Portland! Dave Stoops has designed really sturdy, utilitarian, waterproof bags. Black Star makes cross-strap messenger bags (even lefties!), two strap bags (backpacks), panniers, hip pouches, top tube pads and wallets. There are multiple sizes in each of the styles and they have a rainbow of available colors for the exterior and linings. The retail store is in the front of the sewing studio and usually has a couple of each bag in stock, or you can order a custom bag and pick your own colors and have a custom graphic embroidered. This shop is a little gem!
