One of Portland’s most popular Mexican taqueria. The only catch is that it may or may not be veggie friendly (is there lard in the beans?). If you are of the vegetarian/vegan persuasion, you should play safe and go next door to La Bonita (2839 NE Alberta, 503.281.3662) which also serves up the Mexican “authentico”, sans the lardo.
