Fred Meyer (Glisan)

That's a shame. I knew that the Stadium (NW 20 Pl/Burnside) store didn't have clothes, but now Glisan? Maybe it's due to its proximity to the Hollywood and Hawthorne locations. (English nerds, note proper usages of "it's" and "its" in the previous sentence) And also to note, Kroger owned QFC is close by at SE 55th and Burnside. From a retail standpoint, it doesn't make much sense, since the markup on grocery items is minimal, while markup on clothing is maximal, i.e. where the most money is made. Is Kroger making bad biz decisions? Are a round of closures in the future?

Like many Fred Meyers stores, it seems, this store has discontinued selling clothing. Also, I was looking for curtains the other day, and I was able to find curtain hardware, but customer service told me they don't sell curtains.

There is one guy there that is very helpful, his name is Glenn. Kind of a big guy, but very helpful. He seems to know alot about the products there. When I was there he helped me with the electrial and garden center questions
