Oregon Nikkei Legacy Center
This Japanese-American history museum and center has an amazing model of Oldtown showing how the area where the museum sits today was the center of Portland’s Japantown. The museum explores what happened to the Japanese-Americans who were forced to move to camps after the Pearl Harbor WWII bombing. A very powerful experience. $3 suggested donation.
