Pittock Mansion and Park.

A big fancy-ass house built by former Oregonian publisher Henry L. Pittock back in the early twentieth century. Now it is part of our wonderful park system. They give tours of the mansion daily (which cost money) if you’re into that. But if not, come up here to check out the great views, maybe even bring a picnic lunch to liven up the event.. C’mon, an eccentric millionaire is going to build his “castle” on one of the best view-points in the city, right? Access at 3229 NW Pittock Dr, off W Burnside (bicyclists note: big steep hills to get here!
