Mission Theater and Pub

Talk about history! First, way back in the early 1890’s, what is now the Mission Theater was a church for the Swedish Evangelical Mission, where missionaries planned pilgrimages to Asia. Then the church moved on, and the Mission became a Longshoreman’s Hall. Finally, in 1987 McMenamins renovated the space to its current use: cheap movies and beer! Viva cheap movies!
