Roseway Theatre

Built in 1924 and opened in 1925, the single screen Roseway has been in continuous operation for 79 years. Passing through many hands over the years, the Roseway almost closed for good in the 90’s. In 1999, the Kane siblings bought the Roseway, determined to return it to its original luster. The Roseway, like the Moreland, is one of the few independent theaters in the city that still shows first-run Hollywood fare. Its well preserved Art Deco interior and exterior makes the Roseway a landmark in this district.
