Help keep this place alive. One of the most unusual thrift stores around, they specialize in thrift fabric and craft items. A great source for vintage linens, inexpensive beads and buttons, hooks, needles, threads, patterns, and of course, fabric and yarn. Ethel and Rome (mom and daughter) run the place and are very personable and knowledgeable. The prices are great and the stock changes frequently.

This place is truly one-of-a-kind! There's a lot of vintage clothing stores out there, but when was the last time you came across a place that sells vintage fabric and notions? Not to mention sewing patterns galore, magazines, and pretty much everything else you didn't think you needed until you laid eyes on it.

I spent more than an hour in this place. It's not that big, but it's the kind of place where neglecting to take a careful look could mean overlooking some really great items at prices that are literally a steal.

It's well worth the trip for such a fantastic little independent store!
