Leach Botanical Gardens
Practically unknown by most of the folks I know, this plant park is hidden in a wooden hollow along Johnson Creek south of Foster Road. The nine-acre garden features a collection of over 2,000 species of plants, many of which are Northwest native plants. Also featured is a composting demonstration site. To get there from the Springwater Trail, go south along SE 122nd, crossing Powell. Be careful, it’s a windy road!
