Originally a stand at the Farmers Market, this cafe offers up some great buttermilk biscuits! You can get them with a number of toppings, of course including gravy (sausage or vegetarian.) The rest of the menu is breakfast basic (and vegan-unfriendly), hash browns, eggs, and the like. The joint is tiny and fills up fast, so be foreward. And in case you’re wondering, the “Pine State” they are referring to is North Carolina. To prove it, this biscuiteria offers bottles of Cheerwine sod-er, soft drink for sale along with southern staple sweet tea.
