Waffle Window

The Bread and Ink Cafe is known for good breakfasts that are not cheap (hence the reason why it will never be listed in the Zinester’s Guide). But like the rest of Portland, they’ve been bitten by the “waffle craze” and are capitalizing on it with the Waffle Window. The Window is simply that, a window behind the main entrance. And yes, these waffles are great, but best of all, they are inexpensive! The basic waffle, a crispy Belgian style, starts around $2 and goes up from there depending on which toppings you’d like. I’d recommend the Nutella and Banana ($3.50) for its simple decadence.

Excellent place! If you don't look for it you will miss it as it is literally a window. With lots of choices you wont be disappointed, and the prices really make it a great spot for poor travelers like myself.
