This small brewpup hidden on “Ankeny Alley” (in the same block as the much more famous Mary’s Club) serves up tasty, unpretentious beers for cheap! You’ll never pay more than $3 for a pint of house beer, and there’s plenty of opportunities to even get that pint for $2 (happy hour, nightly specials). The interior is cozy in the good sense of the word, and it’s one of the few places in town to see experimental/free jazz on a regular basis.
