Council Crest Park
SW Council Crest Dr.
This hill is the highest point in the city at 1,073 feet (327 meters). Back in the day (1907–1929) there was an amusement park here (similar to Oaks Park, which still survives) but unfortunately, not anymore. Instead, we now have a great vantage point where you can see five snow-capped peaks (St. Helens, Rainier, Adams, Jefferson, and Hood) and 3,000 square miles of land and rivers , plus the city itself. Of course, that it’s if it’s sunny out. Access from SW Greenway Ave.
