While the pizza at Hot Lips is good, a nice approximation of East Coast Style, what makes this joint stand out is its standards. Hot lips uses locally grown, organic ingredients in what they make. Hot Lips has made a commitment to reduce its impact on the environment, even it means lesser profits. Their goal is to become a sustainable company. And for those of the vegan persuasion, there are options, whether it be their foccacia, or a tasty vegan slice (not made daily, though).
